The real cost of a US Masters

Hi Reader,

Here is the question most students get wrong before they even apply.

"What is a US Masters going to cost me?"

You probably have a number in your head. Your consultant gave it to you. Maybe your friend mentioned it. Maybe you saw a university website and added up the tuition fees.

That number is wrong.

Not because you made a math mistake. Because nobody gave you the full picture.

Your consultant told you tuition. Maybe housing. Maybe flights.

What they did not tell you is that the true cost of a US Masters can range anywhere from $76,000 to $171,000, depending on which university you pick, which city you live in, and how you plan the two years.

That is not a typo.

And here is the part that really stings: most students only find this out after they get here.

I put together a full breakdown in my video. Every line item. Exams, applications, visa fees, travel, housing, groceries, miscellaneous, tuition. All of it laid out so you know exactly what you are walking into before you commit. Watch it here.

Study in USA Accelerator

Most students planning for their US Masters - land with zero clarity on jobs, CPT, OPT, campus life, and what actually moves the needle in your first semester.

I built the Study in USA Accelerator so you don't have to figure all of that out alone.

Here's what you get inside:

  • 8 - module Roadmap
  • 5+ hour structured video course (lifetime access + updates)
  • Private WhatsApp community with serious students
  • Monthly office hours with Me and experts
  • Live sessions with university insiders & program directors

If a US Master's is in your near future - this is the right time to get in.

Right now I'm doing an early bird offer.

Price goes up soon. Lifetime access will never come back at this price.

But there is one cost in the video that almost nobody thinks about. And it is not even on the university's website.

If you are currently working in India, you are also giving up your salary for two years.

If you are making 12 lakhs, that is 24 lakhs you will not earn while you are studying. If you are making 30 lakhs, that number doubles. That is a real cost. And most students never count it.

This matters because whether a US Masters is worth it depends entirely on how you run the math, not how excited you are about the idea.

I have seen people pay off their entire loan within three months of graduating.

I have also seen people sit without a job for over a year after finishing their degree. Same degree. Very different outcomes.

The difference is almost always how early and how clearly they planned.

That is exactly the kind of planning the Study in USA Accelerator is built around. It starts from career clarity and university selection, which directly affects how much you spend and how quickly you recover it.

But first, go through the cost breakdown video. I also walk through the ROI: how long it actually takes to pay off the loan based on your salary, the city you work in, and whether you land a job with a signing bonus.

Some of those numbers will surprise you. Some will make you feel better. Either way, you will be making decisions with the full picture instead of a guess.

Hi Reader, Yudi here, One question comes up almost every Wednesday during my immigration sessions: "Wait... I don't need my company to sponsor me for this?" That question is usually about a green card category called EB2-NIW. And the fact that this question keeps coming up, week after week, from software engineers, researchers, product managers, and founders, tells me something important. A lot of genuinely qualified people have no idea this path exists or that they might already be a fit for...

Hi Reader, Every day I talk to international students who are convinced the system is rigged against them. "The ATS is filtering me out." "My resume isn't getting past the bots." "They auto-reject anyone who needs sponsorship." And honestly? Some of that has truth in it. But I want to share something that changed how I think about job hunting completely. It's the same shift that took me from sending hundreds of applications into the void… to actually getting responses. I'm not the most...
